This course fueled my passion for ethics and philosophy within the context of design. Making me explore bold manifestos as catalysts for cultural change in complex societal issues. It made me think about the social-technical changes happening in our democracies and introduced me to the idea of equity, which shifted how I view governance. In this course, I did an exploratory study into cultural representations by large language models. It made me more aware of the ethical impact of technology and AI, inspiring me to address gaps in knowledge in my future work as a designer within governments.
